This is Signs of Silence Deaf group! We meet at Station Pizza in San Marcos, CA every Friday. I absolutely love this place and everyone there. Back when I was in ASL 1 I went there for the first time and I got scared and froze. Everyone mastered signing and here I was feeling like I was never going to fit in. I didn't go for a while and then I came back feeling better about myself. I got to know everyone more and my signing got better. The more I go there, the more my signing improves. Now I go there every Friday because it's an escape from the hearing world. This is the time I don't need my hearing aid to amplify what people are saying. I really hope that after you watch this that you consider taking ASL or if you live in a different country learn sign from that country. It has been the most helpful thing for me and it helped me make new friends. I hope you enjoyed this video as much as I did recording it!
